It is so easy to start eating healthy. The most simple way I can think of is buying organic meat and produce. It doesn't take any extra time to prep these items for cooking. Organic carrots are just like regular carrots....you still have to peel and slice them. Except with organic carrots you get chemical free produce items which are more nutritious. How does this translate to recipes? In the first epsiode for example, I used organic grass fed beef for the beef curry. It took the same effort to wash and slice as regular beef. No extra work to buy organic. In the rice recipe I used organic carrots, butter and rice. Just by purchasing the organic items on my grocery list I get the benefits of eating healthier than non organic meat and produce without any extra work in food prep. |
